Elder Larry W. Coffee, Superintendent
Elder Larry W. Coffee is the first born of three sons born to Willie G. and the late Betty A. Coffee. He has four siblings, three brothers and one sister. He currently resides in his hometown of Fitzgerald, Georgia. After leaving Fitzgerald in 1973, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia for a brief stay. During the years following high school, his life traveled a rocky road of drugs, alcohol, and much riotous living until September 1980 when he accepted Christ as his personal savior.
After accepting Christ he then married Kaye Chatfield in December 1980. Together Elder and Sister Coffee have five children and seven grandchildren. Yes, he is a proud grandpa.
October 17, 1981 Elder Coffee began his ministry in the Church God by Faith in Fitzgerald, under the leadership of Elder Quainton Neloms. In December of 1986 he became an ordained minister and an ordained elder in 1990.
He and his wife began an outreach ministry in September 1983 in Ashburn, Georga. This ministry has grown into a progressive church, Madison Avenue Church of God by Faith, Life Changing Ministries. Elder Coffee is a well-known minister throughout the state of Georgia for his ability to reach the unchurched. His ministry is reaching throughout the southeastern region of the United States, and beyond.
Elder Coffee serves on the Examining Board of the National Churches of God by Faith. He is also the Superintendent of the South Georgia District C.O.G.B.F.
Because of Pastor Coffee's own life experiences, he has been instrumental in turning hundreds of lives around, saving marriages, teaching men how to be men, by loving and providing for their families.
